Xilisoft Video Editor allows you to split, cut and merge your videos. This application combines several applications that are almost always sold separately. The splitter feature allows you to open up a file and split it into two or more files. The cut feature allows you to cut video out of the original file. This feature is extremely useful for when you need to cut credits or irrelevant parts out. The start of this application is the video joiner, in my opinion. This utility allows you to create a large file out of many smaller files. The good thing about it is that the files don't necessarily have to be in the same format. For example, you can join a WMV file, and MPEG file and an .AVI file in one single file. And the final file can be in any of the supported formats. The supported output formats are .AVI, .MPEG, .3GP and .WMV. During a joining, cutting or splitting task, you can specify the resolution, frame rate, and other aspects of the final video. You can even configure the application so that it runs in the background, converting your files slower, but taking up less system resources. |
